What Is Success?
How would you rate success and what would you define as success? We all look at success in different ways and what we class as success is different to the next person.
When we are children growing up we all have dreams and aspirations to be a certain person and do a certain job, and as we get older sometimes that will change, but for others that dream they have carried from childhood is still as strong in adulthood as it was when they were young.
I myself had dreams of what I wanted to do when I grew up, but unfortunately sometimes circumstances get in the way and we are stopped in our tracks and will get side-tracked into doing something we aren’t happy doing, but do it anyway, as it pays a wage and we live a mediocre life.
Last week I watched my son achieve his dream of 17 years turn into reality and the pride and emotions I felt to be part of something so incredible was absolutely amazing, as not all of us have the luxury of following through and achieving what we have always wanted.
I had from very young wanted to become a journalist and after becoming a mum at a young age had to watch my dreams of career success slowly fade away.
Although I do believe it is never too late to achieve success in life, whether that be a job, a career or a purpose you feel so drawn to that you will do all it takes to achieve it.
No matter where you are born or your upbringing success is what you make it. The first step is all it takes. find a way, seek out people who can help you and have been there before you. Life may get in the way, push it aside and keep moving forward to achieve the success you rightly deserve.
